Our focus
By encouraging creativity, innovation and continuous learning, we believe our products contribute positively to sustainable development. The need for our products is real — but the life cycle must be extended and transformed to eliminate negative environmental impact.
Our long-term goal is zero environmental footprint — and beyond, a positive footprint. We have three main sustainability targets: circular products by 2030, climate-neutral operations by 2040, and being a net producer of renewable energy at all times.
While working toward these mainly environmental goals, we must ensure that human rights, business ethics and other sustainability aspects are included. People connected to our products in any way should benefit from their work, and we do our utmost to prevent and mitigate any negative impact.
Transparency and independent verification
We believe in real transformation, scientific facts and actual numbers. We are firmly opposed to all forms of greenwashing, empty promises and questionable offsets. That's why we use third-party verification of our claims and openly share what we learn.
We also intend to inspire others and push partners and competitors to follow. This is what we mean when we say we do sustainability for real.
We let third parties verify our claims.
Our products' LCAs and EPDs are third-party verified, and we publish the products' climate impact openly. We hold a near-term climate target approved by SBTi (Science Based Targets initiative). We publicly report our climate impact in scope 1, 2 and 3 annually, calculated according to the GHG Protocol.
The products are tested and approved for VOC, quality and acoustics. We certify them with EU Ecolabel and the Swedish systems Byggvarubedömningen and Möbelfakta. Wood-based products are FSC labeled, and we choose fabrics and fillings certified by EU Ecolabel or Oekotex.
Using our products in construction or interior projects contributes points in BREEAM, LEED, WELL and DGNB. As a company we are certified to ISO 14001 and FSC® Chain of Custody (FSC-C170086). We also operate a whistleblower channel that ensures any concerns or unethical practice can be reported confidentially and handled promptly.
